Apost-mortem has been ordered after a police constable was found dead in Siparia.
The deceased has been identified as 49-year-old Kern Alexander of Quarry Village.
Around 1:20 am on Tuesday morning, officers of the Siparia received a report of a sudden death at the home.
When they responded, they found Alexander unresponsive, lying on a bed at the northern side of the house.
Officials said his body did not bear any marks of violence.
The body was viewed by a district medical officer and ordered removed from the scene.
While foul play is not suspected, a post-mortem was ordered to officially rule out any suspicion of foul play.
