A relative of an Amalgamated Security Officer who was allegedly assaulted by a Heritage Security personnel has accused the Point Fortin police of seeking to cover up the incident.
The relative reached out to Uncutt News Media on Monday saying that to date, no investigation has been launched by the police even though a report was made and medical treatment sought by the victim.
The relative said she believes the police were deliberately stalling in probing the matter for it to become statute-barred so no charges could be laid against the offender.
