Morvant Man Shot & Killed

A Morvant man who was shot in the chest last night later died at the hospital this morning.

35-year-old Kwame Alexander passed away at the Port of Spain General Hospital around 5:30 am on Monday.

Uncutt News Media was told that Alexander was shot at Chinapoo Village in Morvant just after 8 pm on Sunday. The shooting happened near Wallace Street at Chinapoo Village.

Officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force responded to a shooting and found the victim with gunshot injuries. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated but passed away early this morning.
