A 25-year-old man is warded in a serious condition at the Hospital after he was severely beaten with a wheel spanner at a bar in Barrackpore on Saturday 18th November, 2023.
• Around 11:50 pm, the victim was reportedly liming with his family at a bar located along Kanhai North, Barrackpore, when a fight broke out outside the bar.
• A man known to the family then attacked the 25-year-old, hitting him multiple times in the head with a wheel spanner before fleeing the scene.
• The police and emergency health services were notified and the injured man was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he received medical treatment.
