Man Found Dead In Cunupia

A pensioner who was found unresponsive in a drain in Cunupia on Sunday 29th October, 2023.

• The deceased was identified as 68-year-old Anthony Dial of Ramlal Trace in Cunupia.

• Around 6:15 pm, Dial was found lying face down in a muddy drain near his home.

• The emergency health services were notified and Dial was taken to the Chaguanas district health facility where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

• An autopsy has been ordered, but police suspect that dial may have drowned, as no other marks of violence were visible on his body at the time of its discovery.
