An employer was attacked and chopped by an employee at his workplace in Rio Claro on Sunday 19th November, 2023.
• Around 11:00am, the businessman was seated on a chair in his office when one of his employees entered and began attacking him with a cutlass, hitting him in the back of his neck and left hand.
• The 24-year-old suspect then fled the scene and the victim raised an alarm.
• Neighbours who heard the commotion assisted and took the injured man to the Rio Claro health facility where he was treated and later discharged.
• A report was made to the police and officers at the Rio Claro Police Station immediately launched an investigation which resulted in the arrest of the suspect and the seizure of the weapon allegedly used
