A man was arrested after he was caught breaking into the pavilion at the Larry Gomes Stadium on Tuesday 31st October, 2023.
• Around 3pm, M.T.S. security officers were conducting routine checks of the premises, when they noticed that a female dressing room, which was previously locked, was open and noises were coming from inside.
• Upon investigating, the officers discovered a man standing nude in one of the toilet stalls and apprehended him.
• The suspect was allowed to dress and was later interviewed by security staff where he admitted that he broke into the premises several times to take a bath.
• However, further checks of the area revealed that one of the lockers belonging to an officer was opened and ransacked.
• The suspect was then cautioned, arrested, and conveyed to the Malabar Police Post as investigations are ongoing.
