A businessman's car burst into flames after he collected it from a garage.
The red Ferrari, Reg. No. PCN 360 which was destroyed by fire on the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway near Debe, belonged to Horace Ramjattan.
Uncutt News Media understands that minutes after Horace collected the vehicle from a garage in Point Lisas, it caught afire while on his way to his Siparia home.
Shortly after 9 am, the businessman's son was in another vehicle in convoy with his when he observed the back of the vehicle on fire.
He called his dad and informed him of the situation and Horace pulled over on the shoulder of the highway where the car was burnt.
Fire officers of the Mon Repos Fire Station responded and were able to extinguish the blaze. Horace was not harmed during the incident.
