Bandits Rob Geriatric Home

Bandits staged a robbery at a geriatric home in Freeport on Monday 13th November, 2023.

• Around 8:00pm, three men, one of which was armed with a gun and the other two with knives broke into a geriatric home in Calcutta #2.

• The suspects announced a robbery and then tied up several patients, caregivers and the owner.

• The bandits then ransacked the home and relieved the victims of 7 smart TVs, 3 cellphones, and a quantity of cash and jewellery before fleeing the scene.

• The victims managed to untie themselves and contacted the police who are carrying out investigations.
