A 4-year-old boy now cries in his sleep since his mother was beaten by two females while she held him along the roadway in Mt. D'or on Monday night.
St. Joseph detectives are probing the incident in which a mother was assaulted by two females who are said to be relatives and are from the area.
The incident was recorded by one of their female friends, who according to her shadow in the video, was holding a baby with one hand while videorecording with the other.
The victim has sought medical treatment and was interviewed by the police on Wednesday.
Asked about how her child, who was screaming during the ordeal was doing, the woman said not good adding that he was still traumatized following the incident.
She said," Not good. (He's) crying in his sleep. If I tried to go outside he would cry. Yes (he attends school) but I'm not sending him because of what happened and he's still very shaken by it."
Two of the females who attacked the mother were communicating with her from an Instagram Account that belonged to the 25-year-old boyfriend of one of the attackers.
They pretended they were Chris, and met the victim and pounced on her, accusing her of wanting to have sex with her boyfriend.
However, the victim has categorically denied such allegations.
In the one-minute video where she was attacked, the woman could be heard pleading with her attackers not to hit her in front of her child.
One of the attackers told her she should have left her son at home. The one in the pink tights then grabbed the screaming child by one hand saying," Move yuh mudda c..t," dropping him in the roadway behind her as the other suspect repeatedly said "Eh, for $200," as they rained kicks, cuffs, and slaps on the woman.
